Plains of Cáceres

The Plains of Cáceres are a sample of the pseudo steppe habitats formed by the degradation of the oldest dehesas of Extremadura.


Classified as an area of Special Protection for Birds (SPA), it is undoubtedly one of the best places for watching steppe birds and large raptors.

Winter species

Summer species
